On June 1, 2024, the founders of Usinage L’Islet, Jean-Guy St-Pierre and Josée Ménard, officially completed the sale of the company to Jasmin Gagnon, Simon Couillard, and Isabelle St-Pierre. The trio had been employees of the company for several years and shareholders since 2020. This transaction marks the culmination of seven years of planning and preparation. The founders were committed to ensuring the continuity of the business and preserving its unique culture and values.
The year 2024 is also a significant milestone for the company, marking its 30th anniversary. For more than three decades, Usinage L’Islet has specialized in the manufacturing of machinery, custom industrial equipment, tooling, and precision machining services.
